Birdham Holiday Rally- THANK YOU
We would like to thank all of the members who attended the above rally for their good company and the generous gift that they gave us at the conclusion of the rally.

Birdham Holiday Rally
The holiday rally was held at Oakfield Caravan Park a pleasant flat field with closely cut grass. Despite not having electrical hook ups with the juditial use of solar panels and generators only two batteries required to be charged over the 10 days. The site is adjacent to a bus route into Chichester which gave our senior members with a bus pass the opportunity to give their cars a rest and visit the local villages and towns. The weather was generally good and the rain stayed away at the critical times when we enjoyed a cream tea and held a communal barbeque. Lee arranged for a fishing trip which proved very popular and the smell of freshly cooked mackerel apparent that evening and the following morning was proof of a successful catch.
One item of note was that we had three families on the rally with three generations, Bob & Bet Steele with Ian & Debbie with their children, Bob & Sonia Moore with Daren & Erica with their children and Dave & Stella Clayton with Steve, Lee & Karen with their children. |
